The Gospel of Mark focuses on the actual words and actions of Jesus.  Mark reveals something significant about Jesus -- that he is more than a legend or historical personality, but a living reality, a person who speaks into our lives today.  In Mark’s gospel, we discover that the arrival of Jesus calls for decisive action.  As a result, we can't remain neutral; we must take action.
