Baby strollers are only allowed in the 1-mile family fun walk. No Runners may push strollers.

Will the event be rescheduled due to weather?

Event will take place rain or shine. The race director reserves the right to cancel due to weather.

Other important notices:

• Headsets, roller blades, bikes and motorized vehicles are not permitted.
• No animals except those assisting the blind.
• No refunds will be available.
  

Rachel House began in Blue Springs in 1992. The Northland Crisis Pregnancy Center merged with the Blue Springs Center in March of 2003 and they became Rachel House Pregnancy Resource Centers, Inc. A third center opened in Lee’s Summit, MO, in May of 2004. Together, they serve over 2,000 clients a year in the greater Kansas City Area.

The Rachel House provides for the needs of women by providing free pregnancy tests and on-site medical care. Women are educated about abstinence and adoption. Medicaid and community services referrals are made as appropriate. Clothing, diapers and support groups are provided at an off-site Support Services Center.

Each center is staffed by dedicated volunteers who are committed to meeting the needs of those who come to the centers for assistance.
